Hope Perth Christian Church is part of an Apostolic International Church Planting Movement called “Hope of God International.”

The movement began in 1981 with a group of Christians, led by the founder; Dr Joseph Wongsak who was simply obedient to God’s calling. Since then, the work of God has flourished extensively in Thailand and throughout the world.

Hope of God Movement have a clear vision to help fulfil the Great Commission by building strong and biblical people, to plant strong and biblical churches in every nation of the world. The number of churches in the movement is increasing rapidly. Currently, Pastor Joseph Srithawong is the president of the Hope Movement and also is the Executive Pastor of Hope of Bangkok Church, in which there are more than 10,000 members and there are over 3,500 churches around the world in the continents of North and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia. We have a clear mission where we would like to plant One Million Churches by the year 2015.

Hope of God in Australia started in Melbourne in 1990 and at the moment we have churches in most states in Australia.

Our church was started in 1993 and is currently overseen by Pastor Stephen Pitavanik and his wife Hannah.
